170 Community Project, based for more than 40 years at 170 New Cross Road, has recently moved to a lovely refurbished premises at 49a Hatfield Close, SE14 5DW. (NB: This is just next to All Saints Church, New Cross Road – look out for the yellow banners!)
The new offices are fit for purpose for the 21 Century and offer our clients and staff a lovely place to work and to get advice. The staff team at 170 Community Project show endless commitment and support to people who use the services and very much deserve a pleasant place to work. Importantly, the move also helps to secure another 40 years of free, independent welfare advice.
In addition to Welfare Advice, there will be additional services delivered from this new building by the New Cross Gate Trust, including IT training, employment advice and jobs clubs.
Welfare Services are provided Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday – Call 0207 732 8716 for more information. There is a drop in service on Mondays where no appointment is needed, although for other times you will need to call 0800 231 5453 for an appointment.
