Whatever the weather we spend time playing in the wonderful garden, so please dress appropriately.

“I’ve been coming to Besson Street Community Garden Stay and Play for 6 months. It is the best one in the area. It is free but really high quality. The staff are welcoming and very caring. There are lots of different cultures and languages spoken here and everyone is made to feel welcome and equal, I like that”.

Joe’s Ukulele Group – Come along to our ukulele classes for young people aged 7-12 years old, every Tuesday from 3.45-5pm at Besson Street Community Garden. Learn how to play, read music and perform with Joe, our highly qualified and very experienced music teacher. The classes are for beginners or those with a little experience of playing, and cost just £1 per week. We can supply the Ukulele if you don’t have one, or you can bring your own.
