We run a variety of community activities for local residents, all aimed at bringing the community together and providing the opportunity for local people to learn new skills, stay healthy, meet new people and have a bit of a laugh.
Gardening Club – Mondays 1-3pm, Wednesdays 12-2pm, Thursdays 11am-1pm and Saturdays 11am-1pm.
Every week rain or shine, Gardening Club meets to garden and maintain our gorgeous site at Besson Street. As the Japanese proverb says “a Garden is never finished”, there’s always something that needs doing. You can grow your own vegetables, grow flowers, or engage in digging and weeding, whatever takes your fancy. We are always looking for new volunteers, so please come along if you are interested in helping us to maintain the community garden. You are most welcome.
