Job: Community Connector, South East London

Are you able to turn ideas into action? Are you experienced in working with local communities? 

The Telegraph Hill Community Network has secured funding to engage a Community Connector (£25 hr x 36 hr per month until March 2024) to facilitate coordinated local action through our partnership and actively pursue opportunities to make a difference for local residents and diverse communities of interest.  

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a person experienced in social action and developing local community initiatives, and wanting to make a difference locally. 

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Experience of working within and across diverse communities
  • A ‘can do’ attitude and approach
  • Excellent communication skills, and
  • Ability and interest in community-based social media. 

The role is available now, engaged on a freelance basis. 

Initial work includes supporting the Network to take action to mitigate the impact of the cost of living crisis locally.
